Ice Cube is a well known rapper, who discusses many of our society's problem, and has a unique way of having solutions to these problems. In the song 'Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It', Ice Cube discusses how he is one of the few rappers left that are doing what they do the original way; the correct way. His tone is very angry, aggressive, and confident because he discusses matters of how African Americans are still living in the hood, and how they are involved in drug trades.

Also, he is addressing the community which considers all rap bad. He wants to stress that his 'gangsta rap' is different from new rap. New rap is what the community is talking about, how all they talk about is money, drugs, and women. Gangsta rap incorporates life troubles into rap and shows a story. The structure of the song is three verses, and in between each verse there is a chorus. The story he specifically uses in the song is how he lived in South Central, and how through his hard work he evolved into the entrepreneur he is today.

His message is that anyone can do it, as long as they have the dedication and spirit similar to what he had. To make his lines rhyme, he uses slang words and cuss words to have a flow. In my opinion, no other rapper has a better flow than Ice Cube does, because he does not make up words to fill in his lines and to make them rhyme. Acronis true image enterprise server 81945 download. He sets up his rap to address the story while it rhymes, which makes his rap very smooth. Because the style of the song is gangsta rap, his message is given in a very straight forward, strong, confident, and open way. He does not hide anything; he states everything he wants to be stated.

The discography for Ice Cube, an American rapper, consists of ten studio albums. 'You Know How We Do It', 1994, 30, 21, 5, —, —, 41. 'Bop Gun (One Nation)' (featuring George Clinton), 23, 37, 6, 93, —, 22. 'Natural Born Killaz'.

If this song was to be sung in a new school rap style or one of the weak toned music style such as pop or hip-hop, the song would never pass the message that was intended to be passed. The way Ice Cube placed his words and the way he states what is needed to be stated shows a deep meaning of what he wants the society he lived in to do, and would want them to achieve great things. Also, he targeted everyone who dared called him anything negative, because in his words he stated in an interview once, 'None of you soft ni can stand the type of s*** I've been through.'

My InterpretationI think this song goes a little deeper than the actions of Cube. Hes not saying get off my back. Hes really mocking Western Society. Really, were completely morally corrupt. The Didache says 'For in the last days the false prophets and corrupters shall be multiplied, and the sheep shall be turned into wolves, and love shall be turned into hate.

For as lawlessness increaseth, they shall hate one another and shall persecute and betray. And then the world-deceiver shall appear as a son of God; and shall work signs and wonders, and the earth shall be delivered into his hands; and he shall do unholy things, which have never been since the world began. Then all created mankind shall come to the fire of testing, and many shall be offended and perish; but they that endure in their faith shall be saved by the Curse Himself.'

I think this time is near. Hes pointing out the fact that every wrong we do, 'its not our fault'. School shooting? The kid played to many violent video games, its not because he had shitty parents and teachers. Thats just one of many examples. Hes saying that we ignore the truth and look whats happening because of it.

Na neco podobneho, prtz dat mu sladkou svacinu by nemuselo dopadnout dobre:D. Minko, urcite bych se pidila po dalsich informacich (dalsi matky, je tu diskuze ADHD. Metallicheskie ograzhdeniya chertezh dwg. Vermox • 17-Jan-2017 06:17:50 Clintdiata kirjutas.

Hes shouting out to us whats really happening in the world around us. General CommentI know I'm probably going to get some hatred over what I'm about to say because I guess most people who read these lyrics are into gangsta rap, but I'm going to give you my two cents anyway. I believe none of the evils in society can be fully attributed to gangsta rap. I do believe though that the youth today is heavily influenced by gangsta rap. You can try to justify the lyrics of gangsta rap all you want, but the fact of the matter is that those lyrics glorify gangbanging, drug dealing, robbery, etc.

And there's really no way around it. I don't know about you but I believe anybody who kills and robs innocent people belongs in jail and not on a record making millions off of it. Now I'm not saying Ice Cube, or most gangsta rappers for that matter, ever killed anybody, but I've heard tons of rap lyrics bragging about how they shoot gats and sell dope. What I don't get is why do people listen to rap that's the same fake bullshit about guns and crack when there are so many great rap artists out there that don't feel the need to prove their manhood by rapping about criminal stuff?
